Lot Essay

Probably re-mounted by Paris dealer Demotte.
The figures can be compared in style with those in the frontispiece of the Khamsa of Nizami, written at Agra between 1613 and 1615 in the Chester Beatty Library (Leach, catalogue, vol. 2, p.584 Pl,88.)
