With grotesque features, 2 in. (5 cm.) high av.; a Nubian terracotta fertility figurine, with red painted 'afro-hair' and protruding hips, her right arm placed across her prominent breasts, large hollow navel and incised pubic triangle, Middle Kingdom, circa 1862-1648 B.C., 3 7/8 in. (10 cm.) high; an Egyptian painted terracotta male protome with short black wig and red painted face, the neck tapering probably for attachment, New Kingdom (1550-1070 B.C.), 1 3/8 in. (3.5 cm.) high; and a painted terracotta head, 1st millennium B.C., 2 3/8 in. (6.6 cm.) high (14)
