AN EGYPTIAN 'BLACK' GLAZED COMPOSITION WADJ-COLUMN
LATE PERIOD, 6TH-3RD CENTURY B.C.
Surmounted by a falcon-headed god wearing disk, 1 3/8 in. (3.5 cm.) high; a steatite appliqué, seated Khnum wearing uraeus, with sun disk within horns, 1½ in. (3.8 cm.) high; a black steatite hedgehog, 7/8 in. (2.1 cm.) long; and a group of other mainly dark stone amulets, including double fingers, heart amulet and a seated deity, mainly Late Period to Ptolemaic, circa 6th-1st Century B.C., 2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) high max.(a lot)
