Acquired by the present owner in February 1967, Tamna', South Arabia.

Lot Essay

A certificate of registration (no. 333) and an export licence (no. 297) dated February and March 1967, from the Department of Antiquities, Aden, and signed by the director Brian Doe, accompany this lot. Brian Doe was excavating in Tamna' at this time.
