The rectangular base with a central horseman between a tall cylindrical altar and a smaller 'flaming' altar, wearing a turban and surrounded by two rings of standing worshippers, all with arms raised, wearing fillets around their heads and several with traces of cloaks, repaired

Provenance
Formerly in the Dubiner collection; the Canadian, Sam Dubiner, lived in Israel and formed a collection of mainly ancient Persian ceramics between 1954-1958.
