Of conical shape, the bird with elegantly curved neck, facing to the left, in 19th Century gold ring setting, 1.2 x 1 cm., 1.5 cm. across inner hoop; a cornelian intaglio with a peacock, with crested head and detailed long tail, a grasshopper caught in his beak, Greek inscription above, 1.5 x 1.1 cm., 1.6 cm. across inner hoop; two intaglios engraved with cockerels, one of cornelian, the other of green hardstone, 1.4 x 1.2 cm, 1.8 cm. across inner hoop max.; a cornelian intaglio with a lion attacking a snake, 1.7 x 1.2 cm., 2 cm. across inner hoop; and another cornelian intaglio engraved with the heads of a ram and goat, 2 x 1.5 cm., 1.8 cm. across inner hoop, all in later ring settings (6)
