Proof -- a single in red-brown (with prussiate of potash) on gummed paper watermarked Small Crown, with complete centrally struck black Maltese Cross and showing evidence of attempts at removal by chemicals; gum crease and small thin but still fine and very rare. Also a defective single in blue with partially removed black Maltese Cross. Photo for the first
