AN ATTIC TERRACOTTA FIGURE OF A STANDING WOMAN
5TH CENTURY B.C.
The hollow-moulded figure standing with her right hand raised to her breast, her left hand holding the edge and fold of her himation which is draped around over her shoulder and across the front, painted with white slip with added red for her hair, footwear, facial features and garment details; and another similar, smaller, repaired, 5th Century B.C.
7¼ in. (18.5 cm.) and 5¼ in. (13.5 cm.) high respectively (2)
