The cylindrical jar with straight sides flaring slightly out towards the everted rim and again at the base, projecting from the rim a single vertical semicircular handle and also a false spout with wide flaring neck, the orange painted decoration consisting of radiating brushstrokes across the handle and rim, the sides with vertical chain motifs enclosed within panels and a band of small vertical stripes above, orange bands above and below, two broad bands on the interior and circles in the tondo
