Of Italian and Swiss origin, Franck Muller, born in 1958, studied at the Ecole d' Horlogerie in Geneva Contracted by collectors, private museums and auction houses to restore old watches, he was able to further his technical expertise and establish himself as a fine watchmaker. He opened his first boutique in Tokyo in 1992 and later several other boutiques worldwide, including Osaka and Hong Kong and Tour de L'lle and Noga Hilton, both in Geneva. The combination of intricate, complicated movements, along with a unique and recognizable style, has ranked him as one of the most fashionable watchmakers of today.

With quartz movement, the black engine-turned dial with large luminous Arabic numerals, luminous hands, Arabic numerals for five minute divisions on inner silvered engine-turned ring, three subsidiary engine-turned dials for constant seconds, 30 minute and 12 hour registers, window for the date, the tonneau-shaped case with pavé-set diamond bezel, two chronograph buttons in the band, back secured by four screws, together with an 18k white gold Franck Muller buckle, case, dial and movement signed
