An unusual late 19th-Century phrenology head,

The head is made of plaster, stained yellow; it is inscribed on the left-hand side A.L.Vugo.Sc London 1889, on the right-hand side Copyright 1889 and on the back PUBLISHED BY NICHOLAS MORGAN SUNDERLAND. One half of the cranium is compartmentalised, numbered and has sporadic printed, paper labels, the other half revealing the brain with parts initialled and with printed, paper labels.
