signed on the backplate BLUNT LONDON, in a fitted mahogany carrying case -- 51.5cm. (20¼in.) wide

The 47cm. (18½in.) long body tube has an objective lens dust cap and rack and pinion focusing to the eyepiece. It is mounted via two screws and a plate to a compass joint, atop a brass column with inswept folding tripod feet. The case has two brass hooks and eyes and the inside of the lid is inscribed in ink Miss Gott [?]Armley House.
