Details
A partially complete model of an Eastons and Anderson Grasshopper beam engine of circa 1892,
built by R.Draper, from castings and drawings by Bruce Engineering with brass bound wood lagged cylinder 7/8in. bore x 1½in. stroke, dummy Meyer valve gear, crankshaft, connecting rod, beam, swing link, water pump, pulley and flywheel all loosely assembled on a simulated slate and stone bed and wood plinth. Measurements overall -- 3 x 35.5cm. (9 x 14in.). Drawings, loose unassembled parts.
