The fluted dish centred by an oval panel carved in high relief with Bacchus, Ceres and Cybele in their lion-drawn chariot, attended by dancing and fruit and flower-gathering bacchantes, satyrs and putti, the border carved with scenes of Bacchanalian revelry between relief-cast silver Bacchic trophies supported by winged putti, with gadrooned edge
