After the model by André-Charles Boulle, Circa 1890
The rectangular top with moulded edge and inset with a black leather writing surface, above a recessed drawer with Bacchic mask escutcheon and handle, flanked to each side by a further shaped drawer with Bourbon shield escutcheon, the opposing side with apparent drawers, the shaped ends centred by a Bacchic mask, the angles headed by female masks, on shaped tapering legs terminating in acanthus-cast lion-paw feet
