A Louis XV style ormolu-mounted kingwood and parquetry etagere

Of ovoid form, with two tiers, the upper part with a lift-off glazed tray, supported on four cherubic tritons with bifurcating tails, the lower tier inlaid with trellis parquetry, with a handle to each end, above a shaped frieze centred on each side with a 'shell' mount, supported on slightly cabriole legs tapering to paw-cast sabots, the upper tier signed F. Linke
