Modelled with the muse Urania sat upon a rectangular plinth housing a barrel clockcase with circular star-centred dial with Roman chapters and twin-train movement, a pile of books to one side, on a stepped leaftip-moulded plinth base and foliate-cast feet, the underside inscribed twice with URANIE
