The dodecagonal top inlaid with a central reserve depicting a Classical nymph with amorini, indistinctly signed A Gargiulo, framed within bands of scrolling foliage, geometric patterns, burlwood drapery and amorini with birds, the frieze inlaid with foliage and griffins, on a similarly-decorated tripartite central support and three turned uprights, on triple flaring legs
