See Pierrette Jean-Richard, L'Oeuvre gravé de François Boucher, dans la Collection Edmond de Rothschild, vol. I, fig. 1045 for the engraving by René Gaillard from the Rothschild Collection, now in the Louvre. The original painting by Boucher was in the Cabinet of Mme. Bertin. It was titled 'Les Sabots' after a comic opera of the time, written by de Sedaine, with music by Duni. The companion painting was titled 'La Fécondité'.
