Late 19th century, bearing spurious interlaced L's
Each formed as a large shell surmounted by a triton blowing a horn, the sides painted with figures fishing from boats and from the quayside, a fishmonger and a crabber, within shaped-oval cartouches edged in gilt, on dolphin supports and rectangular wave-moulded bases and shell feet
