Late 19th/early 20th century, bearing spurious interlaced L's, the clock marked Bouret à Paris
The circular enamel clock face set into a white biscuit case formed as an Empire style hip-bath with reeded sides and a band of anthemion, a lady in loose drapery seated within, greeting a gilt-bronze spaniel, the front with swan, anthemion and lobster gilt-bronze mounts. the back legs as animal paws, raised on an oval blue base applied with goat-headed serpents, shell, beaded chain and masks, on toupie feet
