Mid 18th century, the first probably Liverpool
The first painted with a shepherd and shepherdess within a landscape within two concentric lines, the border with a band of circles (slight chipping to rim), and a pair of plates each painted with an Oriental standing in a garden with an insect above, flanked by shrubs and the edge of a terrace, the border with scrolling flowers and foliage (slight chipping to rim)
