A pair of Staffordshire figures of rural musicians
Circa 1800
The first modelled with a gentleman standing on a raised mound playing the horn, wearing a hat, long pink jacket, green waistcoat and yellow breeches, a lady to his right, seated playing the strings, dressed in a flowered skirt and yellow jacket, on a grassy mound base and a plinth, the pair similar, with a man playing a pipe and a lady holding sheet music, dressed similarly on a mound base and plinth (minor restoration, flaking to enamels and chipping generally)
