Two Staffordshire figures
Circa 1855
The first modelled as a Fortune Teller, with an old woman wearing a red cloak studying the hand of a young woman wearing a flowered dress, standing between a tree-trunk spill, on a coloured grassy oval base, the second modelled as Robinson Crusoe standing beareded, with his hands clasped, wearing a hat, long coat, trousers and shoes in colours, with a dead bird and a shot gun to either side of him, on a moulded rockwork base with applied sprigging (some restoration, minor hairline cracks and minute chipping to spill vase)
