unmounted mint Block Larger Than four 1996 Robert Burns 19p., a complete sheet of 100, the seventh and eighth vertical rows being affected by a most unusual perforation error causing some stamps to show the "ROBERT BURNS 1759-1796" at the top instead of at base, and to be almost completely missing on two stamps: on the seventh vertical row of stamps the horizontal perfs. are shifted upwards by 3-3½ mm. leaving them out of synch with all the other rows of horizontal perfs. on either side; the perfs. between the seventh and eighth vertical rows taper to the left towards the bottom of the sheet leaving a number of stamps in the two rows either very narrow (31 mm. at the narrowest point) or very wide (39 mm. at the widest point); a few stamps with light bends or buckles but mostly very fine.
