It is rare to find moulded bowls of this size although similar examples of smaller sizes are published, cf. a lime-green enamelled bowl (15.5 cm. diam.), illustrated by R. Kerr, Chinese Ceramics, Porcelain of the Qing Dynasty 1644-1911, London, 1986, p. 92, pl. 66; and a pair of wine-cups sold at Sotheby's New York, 18 September 1998, lot 221. Compare also a similarly moulded wine cup of transparent glaze illustrated in The Wonders of the Potter's Palette, Qing Ceramics from the Collection of the Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong, 1984, p. 101, no. 58.

Compare to two Yongzheng-marked yellow-enamelled moulded dishes sold in these Rooms, 30 October 2001, lots 802 and 803.
