Comprising a brush handle ending with a loop and ring at one end, the main shaft carved with two sinuous chilong confronted on a flaming pearl amidst ruyi clouds, with a white jade section at the brush end; a brush-rest carved in openwork with two mythical beasts among scrolling lingzhi, the irregular contour forming a depression at one corner; and two small trihedron paperweights carved in reticulation with dragons and lingzhi fungus, the stones of emerald-green tone with areas of darker inclusions
