A FINE 12-BORE (2¾IN) SINGLE-TRIGGER UNDER-AND-OVER SIDELOCK EJECTOR GUN BY J. WOODWARD & SONS, NO. 7069
Hold-open toplever, non-selective single-trigger, best bouquet and scroll engraving with traces of hardening-colour, highly-figured stock with pistolgrip, Monte Carlo comb and recoil-pad, the barrels with matt ventilated top-rib and intermediate bead-sight, under-stock gold plaque engraved 'R.B.A.'
Weight 8lb. 3oz., 14 7/8in. pull, 30in. barrels, approx. 5/8 & 7/8 choke, 2¾in. chambers, nitro proof
With a set of interchangeable extra 26in. (shortened) barrels, No. 7083 Weight 7lb. 15½oz., both approx. cyl., 2¾in chambers, nitro proof In its leather case with brass plaque engraved 'Russell B. Aitken'
