拍品專文

After the drawings and subsequent prints by Callot of circa 1629. Ternois (Dessins, p. 128) has suggested that the activities shown in each print were part of the celebrations welcoming the King on his return from the Siege of La Rochelle. A preparatory drawing for the view of the Louvre is in the British Museum (T.903).
