In the Hoppesteyn-style, with light blue-ground decorated, one depicting Orientals prostrating themselves and burning incense in front of a joss altar adorned with a monkey-god, the other with an Oriental dignitary flanked by a lame beggar and a bowing beggar woman, the borders with Orientals at various pursuits
