Circa 1812, stamped Deroche for the manufacture at Rue Coquillière 12
In the Empire style, the light blue-ground body heavily gilt and reserved with rectangular cartouches painted in colours with various dreamy alpine landscapes at sunset, within stiff leaves frames, with animal spouts and handles, further with pinecone finials, comprising: a baluster coffee pot and cover, 28 cm. high; a baluster teapot and cover, 23 cm. high; a baluster milk jug, 20.7 cm. high; a two-handled sugar bowl and cover, 17.8 cm. high; a broth bowl, 21 cm. diam.; six cups and saucers (11)
