A Royal Worcester Japonaiserie teapot and cover
Circa 1870, printed and impressed marks, shape number 254 registration lozenge
Of square section, with a bronze-coloured dragon handle with mouth open forming the spout, the lid with a faceted finial within patinated Greek-Key pattern borders, the sides moulded with cranes and birds in flight above branches, foliage and peony sprays, enriched in brown, green and gilt, standing on faceted feet (overpainting to feet)
7¾ in. (19.8 cm.) high
