A Royal Worcester two-handled vase
Late 19th century, printed marks and registration number
Of compressed oviform shape, with triton handles and foliate terminals, with pierced detailing to the neck and central panels, moulded with grotesque masks within scrolling folliage, interspersed with gilt bands and panels of scrolling foliage and flowerheads on an ivory ground, the pedestal base moulded with a border of grosteque masks and spreading leaves, enriched in gilt overal (minute chipping and rubbing to gilding)
