A Meissen dark-blue-ground vase
Late 19th century, blue crossed sword mark and Pressnummer K.59.
Of slender flared form, painted with a central mirror-shaped gilt cartouche depicting Cupid in clouds, carying a plumed Roman helmet, a floral bouquet to the other side, above gilt hanging festoon pendants and scrolls, within gilt-lined rims
9½ in. (34.2 cm.) high
