Two Meissen figures with goats
Circa 1880, blue crossed swords marks, Pressnummern and impressed and painted numerals
Modelled as a boy leaning over a goat, holding a branch, wearing a long pink jacket, flowered waistcoat and striped trousers, on an oval grassy gilt moulded base, his companion similar, wearing a blue ribbon around her hair, a flowered skirt and red and black boddice, a basket slung around her waist, holding a branch and patting the goat, on an oval base both with applied boccage (minor restoration and overpainting, chipping to boccage)
Both around 5¾ in. (14.2 cm.) high (2)
