A Continental porcelain Schneeballen vase and cover
19th Century, probably French, blue crossed loop-handled swords and dot mark
Of baluster form, with domed cover, applied allover with yellow and blue-centred flowers, the handles modelled as leafy branches issuing blue and yellow flower clusters among which perch canaries and applied elsewhere with brightly-coloured birds in flight, the cover with a finial formed as a parrot with wings spread (slight damages and repairs)
24 1/8 in. (61.3 cm.) high
