A pair of French porcelain figures of a gallant and companion
Late 19th century, impressed EBS mark, Ernst, Bohne and Sohne
Both based upon Gainsborough subjects, the gentleman wearing a frilled collar, blue buttoned waistcoat, cape, breeches and black shoes with blue bows, holding a black wide-brimmed hat, standing on a green mound base against a wall, on a circular catouche-moulded base, the lady similar, her hands folded at her waist, wearing a plumed brown wide-brimmed hat, a large curling wig, a gathered white dress tied to the back with a large blue bow, and a long blue skirt (damages to his hat and her blue bow)
