Cal. 19''', with nickel-finished lever movement, 40 jewels, Guillaume balance, swan neck regulator, adjusted to eight positions, minute repeating on two polished hammers onto two gongs, the silvered matt dial with applied baton numerals, gold dauphine hands, four subsidiary dials indicating date combined with 30 minutes register, month, day and phases of the moon combined with constant seconds, in massive circular case with stepped bezel and snap on back, repeating slide in the band, split second chronograph mechanism operated by one button in the band and one button in the band, case, dial and movement signed

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated 27 January 1987 and Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming that the movement was produced in 1915, encased in 1966 and sold on 5 March 1986. Furthermore it is delivered with Patek Philippe leather pouch and gold and wooden setting pin.

To our best knowledge, the present watch is the only example of a
reference 859 ever been offered at auction.
