A FAMILLE VERTE BISCUIT-ENAMELLED INCISED DISH
Underglaze-blue Kangxi six-character mark within a double circle and of the period (1662-1722)
With shallow rounded sides rising from a high tapering foot to a flaring rim, the interior finely incised with a dragon chasing a flaming pearl among cloud and fire-scrolls, surrounded by two striding dragons chasing pearls, enamelled in green, lime, aubergine, yellow and black and glazed on the biscuit with fruiting pomegranates and peaches, the reverse incised with striding dragons and blossoming leafy stems
9 7/8 in. (25.2 cm.) diam.
