Pamela Onslow was the vendor's mother and Auberon Waugh's mother-in-law. Also included in the lot are 3 books by Auberon Waugh, Path of Dalliance (London, 1963), Who are the Violets Now? (London, 1965) and In the Lion's Den. Fifty Essays (London, 1978), each a presentation copy to Pamela Onslow (the second inscribed "For Pamela, who thought of the title, with love from Bron, who wishes he could have written a story worthy of it.")
