Engraved title, engraved throughout, 3 astronomical diagrams and 24 maps, all but astronomical and celestial maps hand-coloured in outline. (Title with repair on verso caused by erased ?stamp, one astronomical diagram with repair on verso and small part supplied in facsimile, light marginal spotting.) Contemporary mottled calf (upper compartment of spine partly chipped away, tail of spine torn, rubbed). Provenance: D.J. Vriesen (ownership inscription on endpaper) -- bookplate.
