Large woodcut of the Presentation in the Temple with 3-part border on title, full-page woodcut of St. John the Baptist on title verso, historiated headpiece, full-page woodcut of the Resurrection on last page. (Small stain in 2 leaves.) Disbound; modern burgundy morocco portfolio, slipcase. Provenance: Dr. Otto-Schäfer-Stiftung, e.V. (OS monogram stamp).
UNIQUE COPY OF THE SECOND EDITION. The woodcuts had appeared in the first edition of 1517, printed at Mondovì by the same printer and his brother, and in earlier, unrelated works, also printed by the Berruerios. Cf. Sander 894 (1517 edition).
