Provenance: Francis North, Baron of Guilford (armorial bookplate, dated 1703, on verso of title); Edward Collingwood (his initials and date (1726) on endpaper). FIRST EDITION. The pagination and register of part two continue those of Andrew Marvell's work, published anonymously in 1677. THE TWO CONTINUATIONS ARE RARE. ESTC locates only two copies of part two (BL and University of Texas) and 5 copies of part three (no copy in BL). Wing M860, not in Wing & Wing T914A.
