The ninety or so known Luther manuscripts forged by Hermann Kyrielis are listed in Max Hermann, Eine Feste Burg ist unser Gott (1905); the present example is no.33. Kyrielis himself was prosecuted for his activities in 1898, and eventually committed to an asylum. The De Thou binding was offered in the Canons Ashby house sale, 1980.
