Tasting note: One of the most satisfactory '78s, its richness and good fruit noted in the early 1980s, soft and spicy, lovely texture. My best description was made in 1988 'crisp fruit, lively ... combining roundness and fair length. Elliptical is the word'. Last tasted March 1999 ****. M.B.
