Very good appearance. Levels: lots 727 to 730 base of neck, lot 731 top-shoulder
Tasting note: a great Sauternes vintage. It is an outstanding Yquem.I I have more than once, out of curiosity, timed the way the nose blossoms in the glass: very positive, buttery. Ten minutes later, lovely fruit, pineapple; after 35 minutes, sweet, ambrosial Turkish delight; 70 minutes later glorious; after 90 minutes perfection; after four hours starting to turn into a tea decline. On the palate, assertive yet beguiling, with zestful acidity. M.B.
