A GERMAN ORMOLU-MOUNTED FRUITWOOD COMMODE
Mid-18th century
The grey-veined white marble top above two short and two long drawers and an apron with an espagnolette mask, the keeled angles with pierced foliate mounts on tapering bracket feet with further mounts, restorations, remounted, the underside of the marble top inscribed with monogram 'SKJO'
33¾ in. (85.5 cm.) high; 50½ in. (128 cm.) wide; 26¾ in. (68 cm.) deep
