The porcelain Japanese, 18th century, the mounts French, 19th century
Each vase decorated with sprays of flowers and flowerheads within cartouches on a dark blue ground, the domed lid with spreading rim surmounted by a karashishi, mounted with a pierced foliate rim and flanked by winged dragons and trailing flowers, the rockwork supported by three further dragons
