The set comprising a teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug, all with an ovoid body raised on three floral scroll feet and applied flower and leaf rims, domed cover with flower finial, the pot 25 cm (10 in) long, maker's mark of Karl Johan Tegelster, St Petersburg 1840; the rectangular tray with applied floral border and handles and baskets of flowers at the corners, 55 x 36 cm (21 1/2 x 14 in), maker's mark of Vasiliy Semenov, Moscow 1832
