No other Vietnamese ceramic butterfly-form pillows seem to have been recorded. There is only one turtle-shaped example with iron painted decoration under an ivory glaze and which is illustrated in Stevenson and Guy, Vietnamese Ceramics, A Separate Tradition, Chicago 1997, pl.161
